Tourism Australia is now an official partner of the Aussie Travel Code. We are currently working to develop the Code into a nationwide brand to encourage sustainable tourism in the many unique Aussie destinations across the country.

Aussie Travel Code announced as a National Finalist in the 33rd Banksia Awards
We are thrilled to share that the Aussie Travel Code is a Finalist in the Communications for Impact category of the 33rd Banksia Foundation National Sustainability Awards.
Tourism Australia’s Responsible Travel Project Surveying Destinations Across Australia
Inspired by the Aussie Travel Code’s inaugural in-region research project in 2020, the Responsible Travel Survey will gather community feedback on key issues that impact the sustainability of tourism industry growth across Australia.
Aussie Travel Code Outback Signage Project – January 2022 Update
Funded by the Outback Communities Authority, the Aussie Travel Code project team has been developing plans to install branded signage across the South Australian Outback.
